About Tibbiwell Alpacas
At Tibbiwell Alpacas you will experience a bespoke, hands on encounter with our gorgeous herd of huacaya alpacas with fleeces like teddy bears and temperaments to match. Our boys are tame and curious and
they love having visitors.
What to Expect!
Alpaca experiences involve coming to our small holding where you will find the alpacas waiting for you in their shelter, probably finishing their breakfast! We will tell you all about our herd and about alpacas generally, you can ask any questions you might have and test our alpaca knowledge. We will then match you up with an alpaca and show you how to handle them, before setting off for a walk around the village. If you ever dreamt of walking an alpaca through an historic and beautiful Cotswold village, then this is the event for you! We have a few different routes and choose which is best depending on the make-up of the group, size, ages, and fitness all considered. The walks are leisurely, though some routes are hilly, and we are usually out walking for about 30-40 minutes. When we return to the farm you can feed the alpacas who have very gentle mouths and will eat from your hands.
You can take pictures, and we will take group photographs for you.
You can cuddle and pet the alpacas before we send them back off to graze and generally look beautiful in their pasture.
The experience lasts for about an hour or just over.
It is a unique and delightful way to spend the morning.
